Day 2 at the Holiday Market = Success

Today was day 2 and by far a wonderful day. Yesterday, our neighbor wandered over and was interested in trading some of her feather earrings for some glass. Feather earrings are the trend right now... So of course I said yes... haha. I've been looking at them for quite awhile and while some are outrageously long and overpowering, some are really quite vintage and wearable. So today she brought over a few pairs and I fell in love with some green and brown ones. Tomorrow she'll bring one pair with blues and purples... exciting!

I also got a chance to wander throughout the place and found several other booths with little hair pieces and vintage looking jewelry. So I went on a mini shopping spree and bought a big flower hair piece that's cream with a pale forrest green layer, and metal headband with three green twirled flowers, and a cute pair of green flower studs. Obviously I'm stuck on the color green right now... The metal headband and studs came from Leontine's (unfortunately she doesn't have much posted- hopefully that changes soon!). Absolutely beautiful floral jewelry and headbands. I'm going back tomorrow for a necklace, a cloth headband, and maybe a ring.

I often wonder if artists get excited when photographer's buy their stuff because inevitably good product shots are taken...

Here are some photos of my new finds and our booth...

Compilation of everything from today!

Here are some old self portraits from the beach that i just got around to editing...
