I met Dom through a photography group started in the fall of this school year. He got me hooked on the 50mm f/1.8 and since then I've used it for most of my shoots. His work is amazing and you can check it out here.
My current assignment for photo class is an Avedon inspired portrait and "a little person in a big space." I haven't figured out the second- but I finished the Avedon shoot a few hours ago. This is the first time I used studio lights- it's definitely going to take some time to get used to them. I'm a natural light girl at heart.
I can't post any of the black and whites because we haven't had class (prof rule), but I'll post them soon. Here are some of the results:
